Portable WinboardX + Deep Rybka 2.2
Description
My portable setup of WinboardX, updated with the strongest free
chess engine - Rybka 2.2n2 mp (ELO more than 3000 on 2 CPU system) - for
game analysis, and two much weaker chess engines (Delfi 4.5 and
Phalanx) with variable strenght for training.
With WinboardX you can play against chess engines, analyze/view games, play online chess (on internet chess servers like freechess.org), or you can match two engines to play each other.
Also included in this setup:
- Performance.bin opening book for Rybka engine
- Small 3 piece Nalimov endgame tablebase
- Nice selection of pgn games
- Wooden board texture for WinboardX
- Chess Merida Font
WHAT IS NEW IN THIS UPDATED SETUP (15.08.2008):
Rybka 2.2n2 mp (multiprocessor support- so called "deep" version) engine - since Rybka 3 came out this is now the strongest free chess engine. See CCRL engines rating list for engine comparison:

Polyglot 1.4 is updated to 1.4w4 (this is UCI adapter which enables use of UCI engines such as Rybka in Winboard GUI). This version of Polyglot does not require cygwin1.dll, so this makes whole package smaller.
Few new pgn files added to Games folder.
Some minor tweaks in WinboardX settings.
NOTE: I am not author of software/data included in this zip file, I merely collected free stuff and put it together in a way I like to use it. I hope I have not violated any license or something like that. For bugs and questions see references in readme1st.txt
